Congrats! You Did It!

Two of nieces are graduating high school this year and as we all know, the ceremonies and celebrations have been cancelled or postponed. However, they have worked so hard towards this amazing milestone that I still wanted to create a card for them to recognize their achievements. When we are able to gather again (we have a BIG family) we will have a proper family celebration.

I used three stamp sets to create this card! One is brand new and will be available in the new catalogue. The sentiment ‘So Proud of You’ is from the set A Grand Kid. Its a fabulous set! Don’t over look it because of the name! I also used the stamp set Witty-Cisms (if you have been following along on my card challenge you know this stamp set was on my desk from yesterday) for the grad cap and ‘You did It’. The ‘Congrats’ which is embossed in Whisper White on Pretty Peacock is hand cut and is from the stamp set Seriously the Best. The latter two are both retiring but I think they are going to stay in my collection!

The stitched circles I actually had laying around from another project which is how I decided on the color palette! I used a baby wipe dabbed on a Coastal Cabana ink pad to lightly swipe the background and then flicked my Pretty Peacock marker over the background!

‘You Did It’ is cut out with the Stitched So Sweetly dies. I am so happy they will be in the new catalogue! The little grad cap is coloured with the dark Smokey Slate Stampin’ Blend and the light Basic Black Stampin’ Blend.
